friday we went snowshoeing to stewart falls. it was a full moon, so we hardly had to use our flashlights on the way back. it was incredibly beautiful, not to mention we got some good cardio in! between the delightful hot chocolate and good company, this deemed to be an excellent beginning to my so called birthday weekend.
saturday followed with a temple trip with my parents and some vintage store hopping while scott left me for a day on the slopes. but don't worry, he made up for it by taking me to the sacred gifts art exhibit at BYU. please go if you haven't already. it is a sweet experience full of very spiritual artwork.
sunday was spent with family eating good food and making yummy treats like eclairs. mm. to. die. for!
monday is where the real fun started though. we headed up to ogden for some iFly skydiving! it's really not anything like skydiving, but we'll take what we can get. we also spend the day bowling, bumper car-ing, and mini golfing. you know, birthday stuff!
we look so good.
tuesday finally rolled around (my actual birthday) and i felt nothing but love from family and friends! we went to dinner at my favorite restaurant, the happy sumo, and came back to our place for cake, ice cream, and presents. 5 pairs of shoes later... let's just say i was spoiled!
the happy sumo
my mom made that cake.. no big deal!
one of my favorite gifts. a map where you can scratch off the places you've been! thanks scott :)
