this weekend was the annual girls trip to st. george for the tuacahn theater! if you've never been there, i strongly suggest you make the trip. it's amazing outdoor amphitheater nestled into the beautiful red rock of st. george. a gorgeous backdrop for any musical!
apparently the best picture get a $100.00 gas card. worth touching the creepy hamster?

surprisingly, we all enjoyed thoroughly modern millie more than mary poppins. this may be for the following reasons:
1. i've seen mary poppins on broadway in new york... tough competition!
2. for mary poppins we were on the second to back row, and thoroughly modern millie we were on the second row.
3. during the intermission we bought these cinnamon cashews, which smelled divine. well to our dismay they tasted more like a cinnamon encrusted bandaid. long story short they left a sour taste in our mouths the rest of the night.
the only good thing about these guys was the fact that their mascot was the nutty bavarian.
needless to say, we had a fantastic time shopping, eating, and laughing until we cried. not to mention the weather was an outrageous 75 degrees. we spent one afternoon at a park soaking up rays and indulging in conversation.
